3. We wait until your next billing cycle (2-9 days)
4. We change your plan to the $48/mo 5GB LTE plan and port (transfer) your current number over

-The entire process takes a couple of days to complete (depending on the billing cycle that Koodo puts you on).

Do I need to cancel the plan with my current carrier?
No. As soon as your number is ported over to Koodo, your old plan is automatically cancelled. If you owe any money to your carrier, you will have to pay that.
What do you require to port the number over to Koodo?
We only need your PIN (if there is one) for your current carrier. If there is no PIN on the account, then we need the account #.
I have multiple lines, can I port them all into one account and at the exact same time?
- You can port in multiple Lines onto one account (will need to do one at a time...which is the way all ports are done normally...cant do two exactly at the same time)
- You can always setup two accounts and link accounts together later as well.
I am already with Koodo, Is there anything I need to do differently to get this plan?
- If you are a Koodo Post-Paid customer, then yes, you MUST port out to Koodo Prepaid so that you can port it in once you have setup the new plan without having to wait 10+ days (30 days in some cases), if you port to other carrier's as the Koodo system takes time to clear out your # before it allows you to port it back in.
Do I need to have my own unlocked phone or Can I get one from Koodo on a Tab?
- I would recommend you buy your phone out right but if you wish to, You may get a Tab to get a new Phone after you have ported in your #.
How come my first bill is more than $48?
- The monthly plan is $48 plus tax
- All customers who sign up before the end of the month will incur partial monthly charges, called prorated charges. These will only appear on your first bill.
